A banner nobody can read from the street is a banner that didn't do its job. The fix is simple — and we do it for free, before printing.

1 inch of letter height = readable from about 10 feet of distance.
A banner read from 100 feet away needs 10-inch letters minimum for the main message.
What we check before printing
- Letter size against the actual viewing distance
- Contrast between text and background (low contrast disappears from far)
- Message density (too much text means nothing reads)
- Logo placement and proportional weight
- Color reproduction on the proof vs. on screen

We've spent 20+ years figuring out which material grade lasts how long in actual Houston conditions. We share what we know, before you order.
No banner is "weatherproof forever." Banners degrade. The right material grade and finishing decide how fast.
What we tell customers about durability
- 13oz vinyl works for short-to-medium-term outdoor (events, promos, openings) — and longer if shaded.
- 15oz vinyl is heavier and holds up longer in full sun.
- 18oz vinyl is the heaviest standard, plus block-out option for double-sided banners.
- Mesh (8oz or 12oz) lets wind pass through — ideal for fences, building wraps, hurricane-friendly installs.
- Fabric is indoor only typically, and reusable across many events with proper storage.
